FAQ

Listed below are answers to questions commonly asked by our customers:

Q: Where can the serial number be located on my Jaw Crusher?

A: The serial number can be located on the frame directly below the feeding hopper and to the left on the hopper's clamp.

Q: What's the difference between the Rhino and Terminator Jaw Crusher?

The Rhino and the Terminator can both do the job, but the Terminator is a heavier and more robust machine, kind of like the difference between a 3/4 ton truck and a 2-ton truck.  While the Rhino will grind as good as the Terminator, the latter will outlast the Rhino and will retain uniformity of ground media for a longer time.  As well, users of the Terminator find it easier and quicker to adjust the opening that controls the media output size.  We have found the Terminator to be the first choice of many of our customers.

Q: What Grease should I be using on my Rhino and Terminator Jaw Crusher?

Rhino Jaw Crusher

Three versions available:

JC#1:             Manual Lubrication - one needs to grease 10 different points every 8 hours or as needed

JC#1ML:        Single Point Lubrication - one needs to grease 1 point which distributes the grease to 10 different points.  Grease every 8 hours or as needed

JC#1AL:         Automatic Lubrication - one needs to simply fill the grease container of the autolube system as the grease gets low.

The Manual Lubrication and Single Point Lubrication versions are supplied with a manual greasing gun.   This grease gun has a grease cartridge.

The Automatic Lubrication version is supplied with a full grease container and it is recommended to purchase 20 litre pails of grease from your local supplier or from us if you wish to re-fill the autolube container as the grease gets low.

Q: What type of surface is suitable to mount my machine on?

A: Machines should always be mounted on a solid level surface. We do not recommend anchoring machines to the ground, a simple 1/2" thick rubber mat will be sufficient for keeping the unit in place.
